Education CS Ezekiel Machogu has assured the public that the upcoming public holiday on Monday, November 13, will not disrupt the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. In a press statement released on November 7, Machogu emphasized the continuity of the national exams despite the holiday, urging all examination administrators to be punctual and ensure the smooth execution of all planned activities for the day.

The announcement comes in the wake of Interior CS Kithure Kindiki's declaration of November 13 as a public holiday, intended for nationwide tree-growing activities as part of the government's environmental conservation efforts. Despite the holiday, the Ministry of Education is determined to proceed with the examination schedule, maintaining the integrity and continuity of the testing process.

The KCSE examinations, which began on October 23 with practical papers, are set to continue until the end of November, encompassing a comprehensive evaluation of students' academic progress. As the theory examination enters its third day on Wednesday, students and examination administrators are expected to adhere to the examination schedule, ensuring a seamless and fair testing environment for all participants.
